I highly recommend Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women. I would not recommend Dr. Fogiel of Advanced OBGYN. I got to the hospital at 3 AM on a Sunday morning, was having contractions, gave birth at 22 weeks Sunday night (my baby unfortunately passed away after 11 days in the NICU) and I didn’t see her until Monday morning. If you can’t be bothered to come in on the weekends when your patient is having an emergency and are ok to let an inexperienced obgyn deliver the baby, you have no business being an obstetrician. She failed me miserably and I immediately switched practices and now have 2 healthy children. My uncle, who practiced as a high risk ob for a number of years, told me there was so much more that could’ve been done to save my baby and he suggested I sue her and the hospital. But I just wanted to move and so I did not pursue it although now I wish I had as she seems to be getting praise where none is deserved.

Dr. Jonathan Russell is amazing! I highly recommend him. He came to check on me multiple times a day while I was in the hospital. He followed all my birth preferences and requests. My baby ended up not dropping because she had the cord wrapped three times around her neck. He ordered a c section and we had a perfect healthy baby!

Please add Dr. Tiffany Tarrant at Memorial Hermann in Memorial. She is amazing! She has terrific bedside manner and is respectful of your desires when it comes to prenatal testing and birthing. I had complications in delivery (due to a medical condition) and only due to her wise and quick actions was I able to have another child. Other personal physician friends told me others in my position have had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I have another child because of Dr. Tarrant's ability. She also never turned me over to the on call physicians, even when she had the right to. She knew it was important to me that she be there, so she was there through long labors.

Dr Cristina Perez of Women’s Specialists of Houston is fantastic! She is open, honest, funny, and super sweet. I have had one kid under her care with another one on the way. All the doctors in that practice are excellent and work well together. Dr Perez did not do my C Section because she had just had one of her own, but her colleague Dr Longerot (sp?) stepped in and did great. Excellent hospital stay at TCH Pavilion for Women too.
