Video: What should we do in Houston, with kids, on a rainy day?

Modified: Jan 7, 2021 by Jill Jarvis · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · #sponsoredpost · Leave a Comment

It's another wet day in Houston and my house is starting to look like a daycare full of toddlers emptied every single box, bin and shelf. If you are also looking to get out of the house, and put an end to the mess making (and mess cleaning), check out this video with Things to do in Houston, with kids, in the rain!

For details on each venue mentioned in the video below, go HERE!

This isn't a place in Houston, but it's something we like to do on rainy days. We live in a very walk-able neighborhood and very often we see people caught in the rain. Sometimes it's a family walking from the store, sometimes it's a waiter getting his uniform drenched and sometimes it's a homeless man or woman. I like to buy ponchos and umbrellas in bulk (or at estate and garage sales) and hand them out in the rain. We keep them in the car and just grab them when we see someone getting soaked.

    About Jill Jarvis

Jill Jarvis is the owner of JillBJarvis.com, a BigKidSmallCity.com and Things to Do in Houston, with Kids, blog!

She is the mom of five and started the website years ago... when she was tired of constantly cleaning up the same mess in the family room.

Another mom showed her that you could just go do fun things in Houston, without hours of planning.

This inspired the blog and changed everything about how she enjoyed life in Houston, with kids!
