Easter is on April 16, 2017 and there are a lot of events, in Houston, from now until then!

Below are just some of the events... but if you look at the churches near you, I bet you will find family friendly activities. (Also, if you know of good Easter activities, tell us what to add to the list!)

    Easter Egg Hunt Photos
    Easter Egg-stravaganza & Strawberry Picking – April 8, 9, 14, 15, 2017 - 10:00am-5:00pm – Blessington Farms
Enjoy picking your own strawberries and fun in Farm Funland that includes hayrides, barrel trains, giant slides, animal encounters (chickens, goats, camels…yes, camels!!), Jump Pad, Fossil Dig and much more. Come interact with the birds in the Aviary where you can feed the Quaker Parrots or see the new Reptile Grotto. While at the farm join a fun Easter egg hunt where children will hunt for 10 eggs and exchange them for candy and treats.

    Easter Games – April 8, 2017 - 10:00am-12:00pm – Jesse H. Jones Nature Center
Enjoy egg rolls, bunny races, spoon races, and other traditional Easter games at Redbud Hill Homestead. Ages
    12 and under. Reservations required.

    Toddler Tuesday: EGG-celent Easter Parade – April 11, 2017 - 9:00am – Discovery Green
Due to fresh grass, we will not be hosting an egg hunt but an Easter parade instead. Allowing each child to receive a handful of eggs. The park will also offer free pictures with the Easter Bunny from 9 to 10:15am, and again at 10:45am.

Easter Orange Hunt & PEEPS Art Contest! – April 15, 2017 - 11:00am-1:00pm – The Orange Show Monument
Bring the kids out for the annual Easter Orange Hunt! Let them loose in the colorful maze of the Orange Show Monument as they search for candy-filled eggs, oranges and other fun prizes! The Easter Orange Hunt will start at 11AM SHARP - please make sure to get to the Orange Show on time! But before you head out there, construct your very own marshmallowy masterpiece out of the beloved sugary candy PEEPS and participate in our Fourth Annual Houston PEEPS Art Contest!

    Easter at Hermann Park - April 16, 2017 - 8:00am-10:00am - Hermann Park
Enjoy a scenic breakfast on Pinewood Cafe’s patio overlooking serene McGovern Lake followed by an Easter egg hunt, ride on the Hermann Park Railroad and pedal boat ride! The price is $12 per adult and $6 per child age 12 and under.
