Brentwood Park - Visiting Houston Parks, One Week at a Time

    Brentwood Park South Houston
Address: 13220 Landmark, Houston, TX 77045

This is the Houston park from which I had the police escort me out of. No joke. I was the suspicious looking van driving slow by Madison High School and Brentwood Park.

I was in the area, searching for Townwood Park along Sims Bayou and saw this green square on the map. I had turned in to search for it... and was slowing driving through the neighborhood.

When I found the park, there was not a whole lot to do. Lots of room to run, ball fields and swings. And by the time I found the park, I had a police car behind me, following slow.

I could have parked, taken out the kids and assured the police man that I was just a mom lost in the neighborhood... but since there were just swings, we had another park to visit and I did not know exactly why there was a police patrol... we drove slowly out of the neighborhood with the help of the police car.

And I was actually happy the police officer noticed me near the park and neighborhood and school and wanted to make sure I was not up to anything bad.

So, that's my story about Brentwood Park. Do not go out of your way to go there, but if you are close by, I hope the police notice your out-of-place minivan.
