Houston Events, for Kids, on Halloween Evening… Monday, October 31, 2016!
We love to trick or treat and celebrate Halloween… but our neighborhood is not great for this. There are not a lot of kids and the residents are often home late from work.

Zoo Boo – October 31, 2016 – 9:00-1:00pm – Houston Zoo – 6200 Hermann Park Drive, Houston, TX 77030
Free with zoo admission. Wear your costumes and stop by the stations throughout the zoo. Pumpkins, candy, mazes and more. If possible, go on Friday mornings and beat the crowds!
Monster Mash – October 31, 2016 – 5:00-7:00pm – Memorial City Mall – 303 Memorial City Way, Houston, TX 77024

Halloween Monster Mash Bash – October 31, 2016 – 3:00-8:00pm – Children’s Museum – 1500 Binz St, Houston, TX 77004
Let the ghoul times roll as you boogie to the hauntingly hip tunes of a wicked DJ along with monstrous characters during the Monster Mashup at 4:30 p.m. Move your bones in the Thriller Dance Party at 5 p.m. Encapsulate Glow in The Dark Monster Slime. Then, trick-or-treat the night away. Be sure to come dressed in your most boo-tiful or frightfully freaky costume!
Pumpkin Carving Workshop – October 31, 2016 – 5:00-7:30pm – Orange Show – 2401 Munger St, Houston, TX 77023
An annual event for the whole family! It will be under the Vinson Elkins Pavilion in Smither Park and expert pumpkin carvers will be on hand to teach you the tricks and treats of creating a masterpiece. At dusk, trick or treating will start and take place throughout The Orange Show and Smither Park, with volunteer stationed throughout giving out candy to the kids. Come costumed and enjoy a fun, free Halloween evening! BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin).
