What Houston Area Pediatric Dentist Do You Recommend? You Asked Us!

Joe
You are supposed to take the kids to the dentist when they turn 1 years old… but where do you go? You can pick a dentist that is good with kids, or a pediatric dentist that only works with kids.

My kids go to my “adult” dentist, and so far, so good. Some of my friends are go to a pediatric dentist and love them. Really, you need to just try a dentist and see if they are a good fit. But where do you start?

I asked the Houston experts (YOU!) where they went, and these are the dentists that were recommended by Houston parents:

I have not thought about pediatric dentists before. All growing up we had a family dentist. They catered to children, but they also worked on my parents and siblings as well.

I am a dentist and I only take my daughter to Dr. Joi Shaw @ Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry. She is the best. I agree on every treatment plan she porposes. She's incredible knowledge and compassionate. Your kids are in the best hands for sure!!

Thank you for comprising this list! Very helpful for parents that need to find a great pedodontist. Thank you for adding Royal Oaks Dentistry on Harwin to it, as well. The junior Dr. Collins is my husband and adores working with kids and adults of all ages and stages of life. You won’t find Disney games and iPads there, but you will absolutely find the best of West Houston in treatment, attitude, hours and honest pricing. Thanks again!

I recently moved to Houston, and I will need to find my child a dentist. I didn't know there were so many. I will need to look into these. Thank you for your help. http://www.comprehensivedentistry.com.au/treatments/dentistry/childrens-dentistry/

I would also like to recommend Naba Dental. This was my first visit to a dentist in a year. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very attentive. Most importantly, they didn’t try to sell me dental treatments for my kids that were NOT necessary.
