The BigKidSmallCity Grilled Cheese! We Created it Today at Pine Wood Cafe in Hermann Park!

BigKidSmallCity Grilled CheeseWe told you before that Pinewood Cafe is hosting a Grilled Cheese Competition.  Just visit the restaurant, build your own grilled cheese and post a picture of it.  The winner will receive a  free cheesy party for 4 and the grilled cheese bearing their name will be added to the menu.

Intent on having a BigKidSmallCity menu item, we got to work today.  My 6 year old, Joe the Vegetarian, was in charge.  He ordered a Grilled Cheese, on rye, with cheddar and American cheese, falafel, lettuce, carrots and avocado.  And it was pretty darn good.

I challenge you to create your own and post of picture of it on the Pinewood Cafe Facebook page.   And if you can beat out the BigKiSmallCity creation, I want pictures from your cheesy party!  But hurry, the contest ends on July 31!

Read on for all the details from Pinewood Cafe:
